To support our continued growth, we are looking for an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Logistics & Trade Support Officer to strengthen our Operations team.


Your Role

As Logistics & Trade Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of our international supply chain. You will coordinate shipments, communicate with suppliers and logistics partners around the world, manage trade documentation, and support our commercial team by ensuring products move efficiently from supplier to customer.

This role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and a proactive mindset to solve operational challenges before they become problems.


Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing international shipments by air, sea, road, and courier.
  • Coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping companies, warehouses, and customs brokers.
  • Organising transport bookings and monitoring shipments from origin through to final delivery.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and managing all shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, export and import documentation.
  • Coordinating customs clearance processes and following up proactively to minimise delays.
  • Liaising with suppliers, customers, brands, and logistics partners regarding shipment planning and operational requirements.
  • Obtaining, comparing, and evaluating freight quotations while coordinating the most efficient transport solutions.
  • Monitoring shipment progress, resolving logistics and customs issues, and providing timely updates to all stakeholders.
  • Entering and managing purchase orders and sales orders within the ERP system.
  • Creating and maintaining supplier and customer accounts in the company systems.
  • Coordinating incoming inventory and supporting warehouse operations.
  • Packing, processing, and shipping Shopify orders.
  • Maintaining clear communication with internal departments to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Preparing logistics reports, maintaining shipment records, and ensuring accurate operational data.
  • Supporting logistics improvement projects and identifying opportunities to optimise processes.
  • Assisting with general operational, administrative, and ad hoc logistics-related activities.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware, and enjoys working in an international environment.

Ideally, you have:

  • A completed MBO or HBO education, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, international trade, or operations.
  • Strong administrative accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of international shipping processes and trade documentation.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (experience with Exact Globe is considered an advantage).
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to prioritise effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented attitude and the confidence to take ownership of responsibilities.
  • The flexibility to work in a dynamic international trading environment.
